How to Get the Unfulfilled Wish Achievement in Honkai: Star Rail

But it's actually necessary

Star Rail Unfulfilled Wish Featured

Certain achievements in Honkai: Star Rail are hidden in plain sight in a slightly different way than expected. Instead of just not showing up, they are listed in the list from the get-go but have no explicit description. This is the case with Unfulfilled Wish, and unless you got really lucky to get it randomly, you need to do some specific setups to unlock that one.

How to Unlock the Unfulfilled Wish Achievement in Star Rail

The Unfulfilled Wish Achievement is obtained by healing Blade from a low HP (5% or lower) to at least 30% of his maximum Health in a single attack two times in a battle. His Talent, his Ultimate, and one of his Ascension Talents all can heal him for specific amounts, so doing that is not that impossible.

The Achievement only reads as “Unnecessary.“, but once obtained, it reads, “In a single battle, use the character Blade to restore HP from less than or equal to 5% to greater than or equal to 30% in one single action for 2 time(s)”. The hint is that “Unnecessary” is Blade’s voice when another character heals him. But you still had to guess that he needed to be his own healer this time.

What makes this achievement challenging to get is that Blade himself is a 5-star Limited Character, so not everyone has him. And even if you do, you need to set up the perfect conditions for the healing. No other characters should intervene in saving him from the critical situation, and he must do it himself.

An easy way to get it is through the Simulated Universe, where certain events can instantly make your characters lose HP. For example, the Big Galatic Lotto Curio will bring all of your characters’ HP to 1% once destroyed, so you can easily use Blade’s Ultimate in the next fight to heal him back to 50%. From here, wait until he gets low enough again and do the same.

If you don’t own Blade, you can try to get it by borrowing a friend’s Support character. If their Blade happens to be too strong for the overworld challenges, you can unequip some of his Relics. Alternatively, bring Blade alone or with just one more character to fight against a strong Boss (like Phantylia or the Doomsday Beast in Echoes of War) to try to get the achievement. Even if you lose the battle, getting the achievement will be worth it.

Star Rail has been adding lots of new achievements in this patch, and many of them are unique to certain characters, so you have a good reason to innovate with different team comps every time. If you really care about minor in-game achievements, that is.
