How to Get the Silver Card in Fire Emblem Engage

Gold doesn't come easy in Fire Emblem Engage, so save as much as you can

You might be fighting a war against the corruption of the Fell Dragon, but the merchants of Elyos need to put bread on the table. And the best way to do that? By charging you an arm and a leg for every upgrade, Seal, and Healing Staff. Fortunately, there’s one way to reduce the painful siphoning of your gold: and that’s the Silver Card. Here’s how to get the Silver Card in Fire Emblem Engage.

How to Get the Silver Card in Fire Emblem Engage

The Silver Card is easily one of the most useful items in the game, as it offers you a 30% discount on the wares of both the item shop and armory. Excellent, as you’ll need as much cash as possible to refine your weapon and ply your army with a variety of random junk to make them like you.

But I’ll be the first to bear the bad news. While in many previous Fire Emblem installments you could find the Silver Card hidden in some random chapter… that’s not the case for Fire Emblem Engage. If you want the Silver Card, you’re going to have to buy the Expansion Pack for $30 USD. Granted, that purchase does sign you up for four waves of DLC that will be scattered throughout the year, but that can be quite the blow, especially if you’re not certain you’ll be returning to the game once you beat it.

And even if you do purchase the DLC, the Silver Card won’t be handed to you on a silver platter. You’ll need to complete a particularly difficult paralogue (assuming you’re doing it at the start of the game) and circumambulate a significant way around the map to get it.

Fortunately, completing that paralogue means not only getting the Silver Card, but a very good Emblem Ring to boot. If you’re curious as to precisely where in that paralogue the Silver Card is, I’ve linked an article explaining it above.
