How to Get The Posh Chocobo Summoning Materia in FF7 Rebirth

Recently announced as part of the DoorDash collab, the Posh Chocobo Summoning Materia can be obtained by players who order the from Buffalo Ranch menu from Popeyes. They need to be members of the DashPass services to be eligible for the code, and only orders made through DoorDash will yield the reward.

Promotion lasts from March 7 to March 21, rendering the Summoning Materia completely unobtainable once this period is over. Codes will be sent up to three days after you complete your order, so just be patient if you don’t get your code immediately.

With your code in hand, you can redeem it by following the regular proceeding for PS5 codes:

  • Boot up your PS5 and head to the Playstation Store;
  • Press Triangle and click the “…” icon to open the drop-down menu;
  • Select “Redeem Code”;
  • Enter your promotional code to unlock your in-game rewards.

The Posh Chocobo Summoning Materia should be immediately available for use as long as you’re done with the initial flashback portion of the game, just like it was if you happened to redeem Ramuh and Leviathan previously.

If the Posh Chocobo follows the same logic as other DLC Summoning Materia, it cannot be enhanced past Level 1. But I don’t believe anyone would’ve expected a tiny bird you got from ordering chicken for dinner to be the most powerful summon in the game. This thing’s extremely cute, at the very least! If only we could breed our own Chocobos and have these chicks at our side throughout the game…
