How to Get the Night Vision Goggles in Sons of the Forest

Night Vision Goggles have been sought after by the community, and the developers of Sons of the Forest (Endnight Games) have managed to put them in the game to the joy of many. Prima Games has found the Night Vision Goggles and we are ready to share the location with you.

Where to Find the Night Vision Goggles in Sons of the Forest

Remember where you found the Golden Armor (from Patch 02)? Great. If you don’t, here’s a guide and a screenshot of the location. You’ll need the Rebreather. By the way, Night Vision Goggles are bound to be useful when you roam around your base, so that you do not step in that newly-added Spring Trap you made.

How to Find Night Vision Goggles in Sons of the Forest

Break the boards blocking the entry (yes, even the bottom ones, they are not skippable) and enter the cave. You will need to dive right off the bat. In the next room, do not go forward down the slope immediately, but go right and pick up some important supplies (like batteries). Then, go down the slope and proceed further.

How to Obtain Night Vision Goggles in Sons of the Forest

In one of the big rooms ahead, you will certainly not miss graffiti on the wall which has a light beam on it. Here are the screenshots of the location. Soon after, you will encounter the Golden Armor, too. Night Vision goggles are on the head of a dead cultist, so you should just snag them. He won’t need them anymore for sure!

How to Use Night Vision Goggles in Sons of the Forest

Night Vision Goggles are kinda janky in the caves, so use a lighter, a flashlight, or a torch. In the forest setting, Night Vision goggles provide much more value. You can equip them from your inventory (also you can hotkey bind them). When you use them once, by pressing “L” you will toggle them on and off. Make sure to get your own Segway-like vehicle as well!
