There are a number of unique legendary weapons in Starfield, and one of them, The Hunter’s Unmitigated Violence, is tough to get your hands on. It requires playing through the entire main story questline and then making the correct decisions about who to side with. In the end, you could wind up with a unique laser rifle that deals a ton of damage before New Game +. Here is how to get The Hunter’s Unmitigated Violence in Starfield!
Where to Get Unmitigated Violence in Starfield
To get Unmitigated Violence in Starfield, you must side with The Emissary during “Unearthed” and then defeat The Hunter during” Revelation.” Upon doing so, you can loot Unmitigated Violence from his body.
Unfortunately, unless you’re using console commands, this is the only way to acquire this legendary laser rifle. You must side with The Emissary. But fret not because NG+ is a chance to side with The Hunter on a subsequent playthrough and explore the rewards and dialogue options on that side of the spectrum!
Unmitigated Violence Stats and Details
For a legendary laser rifle, I’ll be honest, I was expecting the damage to be somewhat higher. Not that it’s bad, especially when you consider Radioactive and Instigating bolster damage, too. With additional mod slots available for other weapon modifications, Unmitigated Violence is a highly customizable and effective futuristic rifle.

I would say the biggest downside to this legendary weapon in Starfield is how late in the game you receive it, unfortunately. It’s right at the very conclusion of the main story. At this point, many will likely jump straight into Starfield NG+, thereby losing their Unmitigated Violence altogether.
