How to Find the Gatekeeper Shotgun in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

The Gatekeeper Shotgun can be obtained in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2 by opening chests, loot on the ground, or purchasing from specific vending machines. There are no currently guaranteed spots on the map to obtain a regular Gatekeeper Shotgun, but players can randomly find them in the environment.

The Gatekeeper Shotgun can be outfitted with four types of attachments through different optics, barrels, magazines, and underbarrels. The shotgun can rapidly fire three shots per magazine in a tight triangular spread.

The weapon comes in Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities. Some places and rarer chests can produce a higher quality weapon than simply finding it as ground loot.

There is also a Mythic Gatekeeper Shotgun, but it is obtained by defeating the boss Cerberus on the map. There is only one of the Mythic shotgun per match, so either kill Cerberus or eliminate the player who already killed Cerberus to have it as your own.
