But did you know you can get one of those cosmetics for free? Here’s how to get the Colorful Melancholy cosmetic for The Artist in Dead by Daylight.

How to Get the Colorful Melancholy Cosmetic for The Artist in Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight is a free game, which means there are plenty of other ways they’ve monetized. Primarily, that’s through cosmetics and unlock Survivors and Killers. And while it’s possible to get a handful of Charms for free (check out our related article below), Prime Gaming might offer the best opportunities to get full cosmetics.

But to get this cosmetic, called Colorful Melancholy, you’re going to need an Amazon Prime Account. If you don’t want to shell out real-world dollars to get this cosmetic, you can opt to use the Amazon Prime free trial, but you can only do that once. So, make sure that Colorful Melancholy is the cosmetic you really want.

It’s likely that Behaviour Interactive will release more cosmetics in the future.

Once you have your Amazon Prime account, you’ll need to head to this link.

Then, select the big purple button that says Get in-game content. You’ll then receive a code, which you must then input into your Dead by Daylight game.

So, here are the steps you’ll need to follow:

  1. Launch Dead by Daylight.
  2. Select the STORE menu, navigate to the FEATURE tab.
  3. On the top right, select REDEEM CODE.
  4. Enter your vended code.

Once you’ve done that, The Artists’ Colorful Melancholy outfit will be unlocked and ready to equip. Isn’t she lovely? And just a little terrifying?
