How to Get the Administrator’s Office Door Lock Code in Amnesia: The Bunker

We ain't gonna let a 4-digit code scare us more than the actual monster in this game, right?

Amnesia: The Bunker truly delivers a great horror atmosphere, and Frictional Games are masters at their craft. Without knowing much, you are pitted against an unknown monster (The Beast) and are supposed to make your way through the story in the dark hallways of a World War 1 Bunker. Yes, I understand your feelings. The first obstacle in the game is the 4-Digit Lock Code that keeps you away from the rest of the Bunker, and I will show you where to find it in Amnesia: The Bunker so that you can move on with the rest of this scary experience. Not for the faint-hearted!

How to Get the Code and Unlock the Administrator’s Office Door

In order to get the code for the Administrator’s Office Door, stroll down to the Generator Room down the stairs (when you first enter the Admin room, it’s to your right). You will find a deceased soldier sitting up right in front of the generator and, next to him, you will see a Dog Tag. Dog Tags are crucial in the game for many unlocks. Make sure to befriend the Generator, because that’s your only friend in this game, even though it’s a simple machine. When you spin the Dog Tag around after picking it up, you will get a code. Write it down, or just access the known codes from the Codes section in your Inventory. Even if you die after finding the code, you can still use it after respawning as if you’ve already found the code.
