To begin, you’ll need to make your way to Higan Canyon – Harvestella’s second hostile area you’ll encounter through the main story. It’s located just north of Lethe Village and contains a variety of monsters to slay and winding pathways to explore.

Small Flame Cores come from several sources in Higan Canyon. Mining nodes scattered around the zones will often contain Small Flame Cores, along with Copper Ore, and will usually be your most reliable source for collecting them. As a reminder, these mining nodes refresh once per day, so it’s important that you visit and gather from them on each new day if you’re looking to stock up.

Occasionally, Small Flame Cores can even drop from the monsters in Higan Canyon – primarily the Fire Element. Slay these foes to collect Small Flame Cores, but be careful, being struck by their fire-based ranged attack may have you stopping, dropping, and rolling.
