Once Human players can get Silver Ore by mining Silver Ore piles found randomly in the environment. These piles look like other ore piles like Copper but have silver chunks poking from them.

Silver Ore is a rare resource, so there are no set spots where players can simply farm it. You just have to get lucky and search where multiple ore deposits are to find one containing Sliver Ore. Thankfully, players can search near the main roads, mountains, and swamps of Dayton Wetlands. A motorcycle will cut the search time significantly.

Players have to simply interact with the Silver Ore deposit to mine it, but will need a Copper Pickaxe before it can be mined. It can be crafted at the Supplies Workbench with seven Copper Ingots, five Logs, and two Raw Hides. Players can also leave a Digby Boys Deviant where one Silver Ore deposit had spawned, and there’s a chance it can find another one within the area.

Silver Ore can be smelted into Silver Ingots by using the Electric Furnace at the base. The Electric Furnace can be unlocked by getting the Electro-Refining Memetic perk under the Infrastructure menu for three Ciphers and 200 Energy Link. It can then be built with the following:

  • 35 Steel Ingot
  • 15 Copper Ingot
  • 10 Standard Part
  • Five Electronic Part

Players will also need the Precious Metal Refining specialized Memetic Mastery perk that players will be able to choose when they reach levels 25, 30, or 35. This will give players the Silver Ingots recipe for the Electric Furnace.
