As you play The Sims 4, you may expect your in-game nights to be pretty calm. You may have an adult Sim or two at work, but it’s usually quiet outside of that. That is until the kids lose their minds over a monster appearing under the bed. It is scary, so it’s completely understandable, but it also sucks when they’re exhausted but can’t sleep because of it. Fortunately, there are several ways you deal with this. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to get rid of monsters under the bed in The Sims 4.
How to Get Rid of Monsters Under the Bed in The Sims 4
There are three main methods to getting rid of monsters under your children’s beds. One temporary measure you can use is having an adult Sim spray the bed for monsters. You can do this by clicking on the bed and choosing the Spray for Monsters option. Doing this causes the monster to retreat, calming down your children and allowing them to sleep again. However, this only works for a while, and the monster eventually returns.

The second option is to attempt to befriend the monster using your child Sim. By becoming friends with it, you can ask for it to leave, to which it’ll retreat again and allow you to enjoy the night again. Or, well, you can have some fun chats with the monster and get no sleep. At that point, it’s entirely up to you!
The last method is a permanent way to get rid of monsters under the bed in The Sims 4. Placing the Coolala, The Defender Wall Light on your wall will keep the monster away for as long as you have it. It only costs 60 Simoleons, making it relatively cheap and easy to set up.
