The Pill Bottle is one of the four Sigils that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies players need to open up the Dark Aether Rift. Getting this one will require players to equip their weapon with a specific Ammo Mod and enter into the gas-filled Aether Nests.

How to Get Epic Pill Bottle in MW3 Zombies

Zombies players can get the Epic rarity Pill Bottle by shooting a cyst within an Aether Nest with the Brain Rot Ammo Mod equipped weapon and opening it up. Brain Rot Ammo Mods can be found in random caches, as rewards for completing Contracts, or crafting one before entering the game.

Equip the mod to your gun and find one of the various Aether Nests around the map. Open the doors of the infested building, and shoot one of the cysts on the wall just once with the Brain Rot weapon. The cyst should not be destroyed and will turn slightly green.

Use a Decoy Grenade to distract any zombies, walk up to the green cyst, and use the interact button to open the toxic cyst. This will reveal the Epic rarity Pill Bottle to be taken. However, this is not the correct Sigil for the Dark Aether Rift, and players will need to upgrade it with a new method.

How to Get Gold Pill Bottle in MW3 Zombies

The gold, or ultra rarity, Pill Bottle is the Sigil players need to unlock the Dark Aether Rift. It can be earned by entering an Aether Tear, flying into the green light, and then completing the purple Bounty Contract.

Players will need the purple Pill Bottle item already in their inventory, then search around the map for Aether Tears. These are purple portals of light on the ground that will appear when near one.

Enter the Aether Tear to appear high in the air, and parachute into a green light floating in mid-air. This will spawn a purple Tier 1 Bounty Contract. Destroy the special boss from the contract to receive the gold Pill Bottle in the reward rift.
