Equip any kind of optic to your weapon, quickly aim to get your kill, and then release your ADS to earn the Operator quickscope kill. The easy part of this challenge is aiming in and getting the kill itself. As long as your weapon has some decent mobility, the ADS portion of the task should be easy enough. If you don’t have enough ADS speed, then you should prioritize some attachments that help. Players who are attempting to finish weekly challenges in Season 3 will need to get quickscope kills on light machine guns. Mobility attachments are a huge help here.

The most important part of earning an Operator quickscope kill is letting go of your aim as soon as you earn the kill. Otherwise, the kill won’t count as a quickscope. Even a second too long will make the kill a standard Operator elimination. Just get used to letting go of your aiming button and you’ll be golden any time you need to get one of these challenges done in MW3.

Remember that the optic doesn’t make much of a difference in these situations. The only reason the sight itself matters is if you have an iron sight on your weapons. Iron sight will never count as a quickscope, so you need an attachment like the Slate Reflector at the very least. They don’t add any ADS speed to your weapons, so dot optics are great ways to earn Operator quickscope kills with submachine guns or light machine guns.

If you can get these kills out of the way, you’ll earn the JAK Shadow Titan in week one of Season 3.
