How to Get More Emerald Dewdrops in WoW

WoW’s new zone, the Emerald Dream, is a green thumb’s uh.. dream. If you want rewards, you’re going to want to plant and fertilize Dreamseeds with Emerald Dewdrops, but how do you get more in World of Warcraft?

Emerald Dewdrop Farming in WoW

The most consistent source of Emerald Dewdrops is actually the Dreamseeds themselves. During the seed’s growth cycle, which lasts three minutes from the time one is planted, three activities will surround the blooming seed that all reward Dewdrops:

• Stomping Weevils.
• Plucking Weeds.
• Killing Overgrown Lashers.

The fastest way to get Dewdrops, in my experience, is to pop a speed buff (like Ghost Wolf, Travel Form, or Burning Tendons) and stomp Weevils while simultaneously pulling weeds. Basically, the faster you’re moving, the faster you can complete these activities (since weeds need to be “pulled,” the faster you move away from them after clicking, the faster you’ll earn Dewdrops).

Other sources of Dewdrops are World Quests (including Dragonflying races), Superbloom caches, the “Worthy Ally” reward satchel, and from various Emerald Dream Quests. Basically, you’ll be tripping over these things if you spend much time at all in the Emerald Dream, but if you take the time to grow Dreamseeds, they’ll be gone in a split, so it’s a good idea to take some time to replenish them when you’re able.

Remember: you don’t need to fill the Dreamseed progress bar entirely by yourself! Any player nearby can also contribute, so sharing the load is best. Then again, I’d ensure you have at least 500 Emerald Dewdrop on you at any given time, just in case you do need to go it alone. You can see how the progress bar looks down below.
