How to Get Marathon in Starfield

You don't need to run a Marathon to get this unique pistol in Starfield!

There is a “Marathon” in almost every piece of science fiction dating back tens of years when your parents were still dating. Is it surprising that Starfield also features the iconic name, albeit as a weapon instead of a spaceship? The Marathon here, however, is a powerful, unique pistol available for a hefty sum of credits. Here is how to get Marathon in Starfield.

It’s easy enough to get Marathon in Starfield. You need to visit Gagarin Landing on Gagarin, which you’ll find in Alpha Centauri on the opposite side of the system from Jemison. It’s a small settlement that has clearly seen better days but is still quite active.

Here, you’ll find Clint’s Collectibles just down the ramp from the starport. Inside, the elderly Clint is selling the Marathon.

Like other Urban Eagles in Starfield, Marathon is quite powerful, though best suited as a mid-game sidearm. With a relatively high damage output without any additional skills, it can take down bounties, deal with Ecliptic, or runaway fauna tormenting the locals.

Seriously, Invest in Commerce

I’ve mentioned this topic before when covering how to get Elegance in Starfield, but it resonates here, too. If you have a free skill point or two, invest in Commerce. It’s such a helpful skill across the Settled Systems.

Seriously, think about it, how often do you buy or sell items? Constantly, right? You should take advantage of the bonus Commerce provides to both!
