May the RNG be with you.

If you find yourself stuck in upgrading your Runesmith in Path of Exile, you are probably looking for the Life Rune. Life Runes aren’t that rare, but if you were focusing on your Kingsmarch settlement during the campaign, it’ll be a little harder to get these runes. Here’s a quick guide on how to get these Life Runes in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur.

Where to Get Life Runes in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

Life Rune’s rarity is in the middle of the pack. It isn’t as rare as Time or Power Runes, but it is definitely rarer than Sun and Bound Runes. There are many ways to acquire runes, but there is only one consistent way of finding them, and it is through Shipping in Kingsmarch.

In the shipping port image above, you’ll see three marked ports. These ports have a silver or runic flag on them. These flags mean that you’ll get runes as a bonus reward for completing trades on these ports. You cannot target farm Life Runes, but you can alter your shipping pattern in a way you can get them quickly.

The port in Riben Fell only takes around 30 minutes to complete the trade. You can ship any resources, such as Wheat and Verisium Ores, and they’ll bring you back runes as long as you trade with Riben Fell or any of the ports in the image above.

Eventually, you’ll get yourself some Life Runes, but it is still dependent on luck. The other ports require you to rank up your shipping, so it isn’t available for everybody. However, Riben Fell is always available once you have Shipping unlock in Kingsmarch.

Life Rune is needed to upgrade your Runesmith to rank 3, but it’s a good thing you only need one of them.

Other Ways to Get Runes in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

There are also other ways to get runes apart from shipping. Runes drop from new Settlers of Kalguur league encounters such as The Black Knight, Admiral Valerius, and Sasan, the Bandit Lord.

The Black Knight randomly spawns in T16 maps, and you’ll have to find the Starfall Crater inside the map to find him. Admiral Valerius is an encounter in the Sailor’s Folly. You get access to the Sailor’s Folly if your shipment gets commandeered by pirates and you decide to rescue your workers. The Sasan, the Bandit Lord encounter only takes place if your map runners suddenly get hostages while mapping.

All boss encounters are completely random, but they all drop runes and thousands of gold. If you ever have the chance to beat any of these bosses, you should take it unless you are playing hardcore.
