The game teaches you relatively early on how to gather materials, specifically Acacia Wood, but there are many resources to uncover if you want to upgrade your tools, armor, and weapons. Here is how to get Irokko Planks in Skull and Bones!
Where to Get Iroko Plank in Skull and Bones
To get Iroko Planks in Skull and Bones, you first require Iroko Wood, and luckily, you don’t have to travel far from Sainte-Anne to find the valuable resource. If you head northwest out of the safe zone, toward The Giant’s Leap, you’ll note a winding river leading toward the Angaya Coast. Follow the river carefully, as one wrong turn can beach your ship and cause severe damage, and you’ll inevitably stumble upon Iroko Wood. In fact, circle this very same island, and you’ll likely find more Iroko Wood than you know what to do with!
You require a Saw to harvest Iroko Wood. But once you have enough, return to Sainte-Anne and interact with the Refinery. It’s found directly beside the Shipwright. At the Refinery, you can turn your raw material, in this case, Iroko Wood, into Iroko Planks. It will cost you five Iroko Wood per Iroko Plank, so ensure you have enough.
It’s important to mention that you must scoop up your refined materials once done. If you don’t, everything will be left behind!
Alternatively, like most other resources in the game, you can find Iroko Planks in Skull and Bones by raiding the merchant ships roaming the open ocean. Some ships carry Iroko Planks, and you can tell which by scanning them with your Spyglass before engaging.
What is Iroko Plank Used For in Skull and Bones?
Once you have enough Iroko Planks, you can craft the following items:
Item | Type |
---|---|
Basilisk I | Deck Weapon |
Basilisk II | Deck Weapon |
Bombard II | Top Weapon |
Culverin II | Deck Weapon |
Demi-Cannon II | Deck Weapon |
Fire Long Gun I | Top Weapon |
Tearing Culverin I | Deck Weapon |
Tearing Culverin II | Deck Weapon |
Iron Husk II | Basic Armor |
Layered Scales II | Basic Armor |
As you can see, if you want to hold your own in combat against some of the more sizable vessels in the game, you must acquire Iroko Planks for additional firepower and defensive measures. It’s an extremely useful resource, similar to Steel Ingots, that you won’t want to enter the end-game-level content without!
