How to Get into the Panic Room in Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 starts with a lot of bloodshed and violence, but at least you know there are some living people out there. Probably. And that’s Emma Jaunt and her nervous personal assistant, Michael. But to get to them, you’re going to have to work your way through some other Bel-Air mansions.

The first one you encounter will have you faced with an impenetrable black door of the panic room. It’s meant to withstand bullets and blows, so no matter how much you batter it with the piece of splintering timber you’ve found at the wreckage, you’re never going to break through.

But the answer is actually very simple. Dead Island 2 is a game that encourages you to physically interact with your environment. And if you’re facing the door of the panic room, just turn to the left. On the wall, at head level, is a fuse box.
