How to Get Infinite Dragonflight Dragonriding Customizations in WoW

Whose side are you on?

You may have started seeing players zoom around on their fancy Dragonriding mounts with a color scheme that you were previously unfamiliar with – a black-scaled drake with illustrious teal accents. Look familiar? That’s right: it’s the Infinite Dragonflight! If you’d like, hypothetically, to join the ranks of these time-crime-committers, I’ve got the guide for you.

How to Get Infinite Scale Manuscripts in WoW Dragonflight

The specific item you’re looking for is the [Dragon Name]: Infinite Scales Drakewatcher Manuscript. These are a nearly guaranteed (I’m unsure of the exact percentage, but it’s fairly high) drop from the final boss of the Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon, Chronolord Deios.

I didn’t say it would be easy. (Screenshot by Prima Games)

Each time I have run Dawn of the Infinite, every player (or nearly every player) received a set of Infinite Scales for their dragons. These are random, so you might not get your preferred mount skin, but there is a knockout system so that you’re guaranteed one that you don’t have the next time you receive one as a drop.

You can run Dawn of the Infinite for a shot at Infinite Scales once a week, per character. If you have lots of alts, you’ll have little trouble getting most of these quickly, otherwise it’s probably best to just let them come as you clear the dungeon naturally.

When I say, “let them come,” I of course mean that the megadungeon is really good, and worth doing for more reasons than these skins alone. Fantastic gear, a shot at a previously unacquired mount which you can check out our guide on the Quantum Courser here, and free cosmetics make it infinitely worth your time. I’ll see myself out.
