How to Get Gold Dust in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7)

Worth its weight in gold.

If you want to increase your Craftsmanship Level and unlock more Items Transmuter recipes in FF7 Rebirth, you’ll need to craft different items, accessories, and armor. One material you’ll need is Gold Dust – here’s how to get it in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Where to Find Gold Dust in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – Exact Location

Gold Dust is found in the Corel, Gongaga, and Cosmo Canyon regions in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and appears on the ground as a material you can pick up. When in those regions, look for gold rock icons in rocky areas for a chance to obtain some Gold Dust. Note that there are spoilers for the Corel region below, so read on at your own risk.

I personally had a lot of luck finding Gold Dust in North Corel in the Corel region, around the Seashell Coast Remnawave Tower. There are a few rock material deposits here, though you can find Gold Dust all across the Corel region, especially if you use the Buggy to cover ground more quickly than on Chocoboback. How to Use Gold Dust in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth – Item Transmuter Recipes

So far, I’ve only found one Item Transmuter recipe that uses Gold Dust in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which is as follows:

  • Gold Needle – Cures gradual and instantaneous Petrification.
    • 2 Gold Dust.
    • 2 Laurel.
    • 3 Pearl Ginger Root.
    • 1 Planet’s Benison.
