Lightfall is live in Destiny 2, and aside from a whole new campaign to tackle, there are plenty of fresh exotics to collect within the game. Not all exotic gear is created equal though, and some of them, like the Final Warning, will take much more time to unlock.
Everyone likes adding some rare weapons to their collection, and this one brings another sidearm option into the mix. The Final Warning has some interesting tracking perks that allow for tons of damage when hip firing, and we’ll cover how you can pick this up for yourself in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 Lightfall – How to Get the Final Warning Exotic
There are a few major steps that need to be completed before you can even attempt to obtain this sidearm. Step one is to complete the Lightfall campaign entirely. The Final Warning, like some of the other exotic gear in the game, is locked behind progress in the main story.
Even after the main story is completed for Lightfall, you’ll need to focus on the Strand subclass. Each of the abilities, aspects, and fragments need to be unlocked on the Strand subclass to get even closer to the Final Warning exotic sidearm. Much of this process can be done at the Pouka Pond in Destiny 2.

After you’re done with the Strand subclass, it’s time to pick up the exotic quest you’re looking for. This quest is called The Final Strand and is given out by Nimbus at Striders’ Gate in Neomuna. The quest itself has a handful of parts and will end in a trial from Osiris. Upon completion, the Final Warning exotic is yours.
