While there are multiple techniques players can use to get EXP Candy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, defeating Tera Raid Battles is by far the best method. Every time a Tera Raid Battle is won, catch or not, the player will be granted an EXP Candy.

The EXP Candy size is determined by the Star Level of the Tera Raid Battle. For example, if you complete a 5-Star Tera Raid Battle, you may receive a Large EXP Candy.
