Where to Get Death Perception Recipe in MW3 Zombies

The Death Perception recipe can be obtained by completing the Act 3 Tier 1 mission Two Factor Authentication. It is the first mission of Act 3, and players will still need to complete it to advance to the next tier of missions. Players will also need to complete all missions in Act 1 and Act 2 before getting to this mission.

The objectives for the Two Factor Authentication mission are:

  • Complete a Defend Ground Station Contract.
  • Kill 20 Mercenaries during the Contract.
  • Maintain the computer’s health above 60%.
  • Exfil with the Death Perception Recipe.

The Defend Ground Station contracts can be found randomly in the world on the map. These are basic missions where players protect a computer downloading data while waves of mercenaries swarm in to destroy it.

Once the time is up, a reward portal will contain the Death Perception Recipe. Players will have to successfully exfil to keep the recipe.

What Does Death Perception Do in MW3 Zombies?

The description for Death Perception is, “Obscured enemies, chests, resources, and item drops are more easily spotted.” The perk causes players to see an orange outline around any caches, enemies, or other resources through walls. It is especially helpful when clearing out Aether Nests and Infected Strongholds, since players can see the cysts through the walls before even stepping inside.
