It's made of bones.

The Bone Rattle weapon is a special weapon blueprint that is only available in the Zombies mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It is a blueprint for the DG-58 LSW LMG, and can be earned by completing one of the later missions in the game mode.

How to Get Bone Rattle Weapon Blueprint in Modern Warfare 3

The Bone Rattle Weapon Blueprint is received as a reward for completing the Interceptor mission in the Zombies mode. This is a Tier 2 mission and will become available once players have finished the entire set of previous Tier 1 missions. The Interceptor mission has two objectives:

  • Destroy Mercenary Convoy
  • Collect Stronghold Keycard dropped by Mercenary Convoy

The Mercenary Convoy is not labeled on the map when the mission is equipped but can be found easily in the orange zone of the map. Once everyone in the convoy has been killed, a Stronghold Keycard will appear on the ground and players will have to pick it up to complete the second objective. Players do not have to use the card at all for this mission.

MW3 Bone Rattle Weapon Stats

The Bone Rattle Weapon Blueprint does not contain any exclusive attachments over the base DG-58 LSW weapon. It has a bone-like weapon skin and the following attachments:

  • Barrel – DG-58 LS18 Heavy Barrel
  • Muzzle – L4R Flash Hider
  • Underbarrel – FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip

This weapon blueprint is focused on recoil control and quickly firing after sprinting. It is a good choice over the base weapon for players who have not unlocked any other attachments for the LMG. Otherwise, players who have maxed out the gun or others can outfit it with the same attachments, but with no bone skin.
