How to Get Whitewyrm Bone in FFXVI

To get Whitewyrm Bone in FFXVI, you need to defeat the White Dragon as part of the main scenario questline. This will happen during the mission where you storm the capital of the Holy Empire of Sanbreque. It happens roughly two-thirds of the way through the game.

After defeating the White Dragon mid-boss, you’ll be rewarded with three Whitewyrm Bones to use in creating.

How to use Whitewyrm Bone in FFXVI

To use Whitewyrm Bone in FFXVI, you’ll need to head over to Blackthorne, the Blacksmith in The Hideaway. You’ll use the Whitewhyrm Bone to craft the Diamond Sword, and in new game plus, you’ll use it to create the Diamond Sword Reforged.

It’s also used to create the Silken Sash and Diamond Bracelets from Blackthorne. All of these can be created after defeating the Dragons in FFXVI. You won’t need the bones prior to that, as the sword will only become available when you reach this part of the story.
