How to Get and Use C-Stacks in Payday 3

See? They're stacks.

Whenever you complete a heist in Payday 3, you’ll get a boatload of cash depending on what you were able to haul out of the place. Each heist on each difficulty displays how much cash you can get, between the lowest and highest possible values. This cash can then be spent on numerous items in the shop, though it isn’t the only currency curiously. Here’s how to get and use C-Stacks in Payday 3.

What Are C-Stacks in Payday 3?

C-Stacks are an encrypted currency within Payday 3, essentially meaning they’re untraceable and are the safest way to do business. As for what they are to you, they’re a currency used to purchase specific items in different shops. As for how you get some, they can be purchased by going to the Vendors tab at the top of your screen, and then selecting Setaggi: Currency Broker from the available options.

In this menu will be three options. You can buy one C-Stack for $10,000, five C-Stacks for $45,000, and 10 C-Stacks for $90,000. Every time you purchase one of these C-Stack options, the price will be increased until you’ve purchased the 11 maximum C-Stack purchases from that tier of C-Stacks. With how much these rack up in price, you likely won’t be purchasing all 11 of each.

The weekly exchange rate, being the price increase and use of maximum C-Stack purchases, will be reset once a week on Sunday at 4 PM PT. After that, you can purchase C-Stacks at their base value again. Be mindful that any C-Stacks you purchase will permanently be C-Stacks, and can’t be exchanged again for cash.

What Can You Buy With C-Stacks?

C-Stacks let you purchase weapons and cosmetic items that can only be bought with C-Stacks. The weapons you can purchase are Preset Weapons, meaning they’re modified in a specific way already. This means you don’t need to grind to get a certain amount of attachments for a weapon. Meanwhile, the cosmetics you can purchase with C-Stacks include things like charms, masks, gloves, and suits.
