How to Get an Ice Heart in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Upon starting the quest for Merlin, he’ll give you an Ice Tear Seed that you can use to get the Ice Heart. While he won’t give too many hints about it, there’s one tidbit of information you can use to finish this quickly. Since it is a seed, you’ll have to plant it.

Head to any location you’d like, dig a hole and plant the Ice Tear Seed to grow an Ice Heart plant. Despite the seed being, well, made of ice, you don’t actually have to cultivate the plant in a cold area. You can place it in locations like the Plaza or Peaceful Meadow just fine without penalty. However, whether or not regions like Sunlit Plateau and Dazzle Beach work is certainly up for debate.

Once you plant your Ice Tear Seed in the area of your choice, water the plant before harvesting it. The plant will finish growing almost instantly, so don’t worry about having to leave and return later. After watering it and picking the Ice Heart, you can move on to the remaining quest portions and get your upgraded watering can from Merlin!
