We can all agree that Acacia is the cause of the earliest frustrations in Skull and Bones, due to how scarce this tree is in the game. However, I have found numerous ways for you to get Acacia in Skull and Bones, so here’s where to find and buy it.
Where to Find Acacia in Skull and Bones
You can open your map and spot the reported “nods” of Acacia on the coasts of nearby islands to the west and north of Sainte-Anne. Here’s what it looks like.
The problem with these indicators is that they mark tree stumps because other players have already harvested the Acacia trees. It is increasingly frustrating to sail around islands to look for these trees because there are a lot of beginners in this game, and everyone needs to pass this quest to progress through the main story.
Here’s what an uncut Acacia tree looks like. You should use the telescope (R on PC) to explore the shores for Acacia trees. I sadly have no clue what their respawn time is at the moment, but if you grow too frustrated from searching for uncut Acacia trees, there is a place where you can buy the planks and be done with it.
How to Harvest Acacia in Skull and Bones
Harvesting of stuff on the island shores is easy in general; just get into range with your ship and press “F” when prompted to harvest Acacia. You will now enter a mini-game, where you’re supposed to left-click your mouse when the indicator is in the green field three times. Forgive me for using a screenshot for the Iruko tree; I was occupied with getting the Acacia nod before someone else did. It’s a slaughterhouse out there!
Where to Buy Acacia in Skull and Bones
Take notes because this is a big problem-solver for this entry-level quest. Just west of Sainte-Anne, there is this magical place called Tsifo Lumberyard. This place sells Acacia for silver coins. Here’s a map that will show you where it is. It has a lumberyard minimap icon, too!
After you approach the Tsifo Lumberyard and interact with it, you’ll be able to buy/sell stuff. I suppose this comes as a lifesaver for many of you reading this. To top it all, I found it completely randomly, so you don’t have to.
Remember when Ubisoft said Skull and Bones “is not dead” in a hilarious way?
