How to Get a Red Lightsaber in Jedi Survivor

Utilize Cal's aggression.

Aside from the blue color that we associate with many of the strongest Jedi, the red lightsaber is one of the most iconic weapon appearances of all time. There is no doubt that many of you will want the color for Cal in your own run of Jedi Survivor when you customize your saber.

However, unlocking the red lightsaber is not as easy as heading to a Workbench like so many other colors in the game. To show off the dark side in true fashion, you will have to jump through more than a few hoops as Cal Kestis, and we will cover the whole process here.

Jedi Survivor – How to Get a Red Lightsaber Color

To unlock the red lightsaber in Jedi Survivor, you will have to reach New Game Plus, which is also known as New Journey Plus. You will have to complete the main story to even unlock this mode. Even then, unlocking the mode will not be enough. Unlocking the red lightsaber means starting New Journey Plus, not just gaining access to it.

When you reach your first Workbench in the game, you will have access to nine different colors in the blade section of customization. I personally went with the green color because it looks the best and the wisest Jedi Masters tend to make use of the color. I mean, how can you get any better than Master Luke or Master Yoda? You will not see red in this general section though, so anyone on their first run with Cal will have to wait.

Once you are in the New Journey Plus mode, you can find the red lightsaber at any Workbench like you would the other colors. You will also be able to find a party color that is used for fun rather than anything colorful. Now you can live out your revenge as Cal Kestis and wield the iconic red saber in Jedi Survivor.
