Finding animal companions in DDLV lets you interact with nature, learn more about the world’s adorable creatures, and relax between quests, especially as you’re exploring Rift in Time’s Eternity Isle. Here’s how to get a cobra companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Get a Cobra in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Getting a cobra as an animal companion requires feeding it eggs or scorpions daily until you befriend it. While scorpions are a valid option, eggs are easier to find, as they’re purchasable in the Chez Remy kitchen store in unlimited quantities.
Once you feed the cobra enough times each day, you’ll unlock it as a companion you can equip by heading into Inventory > Wardrobe > Companions.
How to Approach Cobras in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Cobras have a similar movement and behavior pattern to raccoons, as they move their head to signal whether you can approach them. Below are the exact steps to interacting with a cobra:
- Slowly walk toward the cobra so you don’t startle it.
- Once you’re close, it will lift its head. Stop moving when it does this.
- Once it lowers its head, briefly walk toward the cobra until it raises its head again.
- Wait for it to lower its head again before repeating the process.
Slowly, you’ll move toward the cobra without it running away. Once you’re close to it, it’ll coil up and sit in one spot, allowing you to approach and feed it eggs or a scorpion. You’ll have to do this once a day before the cobra warms up to you and becomes your companion.
