Now that Fortnite has been throwing events into the game for years, many players know what to expect with the egg items that make an appearance. Despite the familiarity, Epic Games tends to switch up how they work once in a while. This guide will cover how you can gather laid eggs in Fortnite so you can progress in the spring event.

Fortnite Spring Breakout – How to Gather Laid Eggs

When you look at all the available for quests for the Spring Breakout Easter event, one of the first tasks has three steps and will give you the objective of finding eggs. In the past, these same eggs were found all over the map as consumable items that could be placed in your inventory.

Rather than finding nests of bouncy effect eggs this time around, you’ll notice that they are all tied to chickens that roam around the map. Chickens will drop three different types of eggs which include healing, hop, and golden eggs. This is where the name of the “gather laid eggs” quest comes from.

To complete the quest, all you need to do is pick up 10 different laid eggs during the Spring Breakout event in Fortnite. The initial 10 will get you through step one, and then another 20 eggs are required to complete the full quest. From there, you’ll be one step closer to all the rewards in the Fortnite Spring Breakout.
