Zenless Zone Zero is one of the largest releases of 2025, with over 50 million downloads, which was only a few days after its launch. The title is another massive hit for miHoYo, but it’s not perfect on the technical side, with server errors and launcher troubles. If you’re playing Zenless Zone Zero on the PS5 and are running into the “Unable to Find Servers” error, here is how you can fix it.
Fixing the Zenless Zone Zero Unable to Find Servers Error
To fix the Zenless Zone Zero unable to find servers error, you need to update your DNS settings in the PS5 to use Cloudflare’s open DNS values.
This is a common issue with many multiplayer titles which have trouble connecting to servers. Using the free DNS values can often improve online stability, which is also the case with Zenless Zone Zero on the PS5. Here is how you can set it up.
- First, make sure Zenless Zone Zero isn’t running
- Open PS5’s Settings, and select Network
- Select Set Up Internet Connection
- Now, select Use Wifi or Use a LAN Cable depending on what type your connection is
- Select DNS Settings, and set it to Manual
- After this, set the value of Primary DNS to 1.1.1.1
- Similarly, set the value of Secondary DNS to 1.0.0.1
- Select Done
- Restart the PS5 just in case
After you’re done, Zenless Zone Zero should connect to the servers without a problem. Currently, this is the only reason solution to the problem until miHoYo addresses it in a patch.
If that doesn’t work, you can try the following generic troubleshooting tips:
- Restart your modem/router
- Use a different connection type
- Use a different network connection to start the download or connect to a server initially
This rare error is more common on PS5 than PC or mobile devices. If you’re on PC, you might be running into the Download Error 200 instead. For more on Zenless Zone Zero, make sure to check out our dedicated section.
