How to Solve the No Rewards After Missions Bug in Helldivers 2

To successfully fix the error that prevents you from receiving rewards after completing a mission in Helldivers 2, the best option is to wait. It’s a known bug and one that the studio is actively working to fix. It’s commonly caused by server instability between the client and host and stems from too many connections at any given time.

However, if you don’t want to wait, your best option is to completely shut down Helldivers 2, including any processes running in the background, and then relaunch the game. You must ensure that nothing related to the game continues running behind the scenes, including the anti-cheat software. Open up Task Manager and check, then move forward with the restart!

That said, any rewards you earn while playing with this error present will accumulate in the background, and you will still receive every reward once the servers reconnect. That’s right; if you earn ten Medals, you’ll still receive all ten once everything is back in working order!

What Causes the No Rewards After Missions Error?

Currently, the cause behind the increasingly more common ‘no rewards after missions’ error in Helldivers 2 is because of server overload. There are tens of thousands of players enjoying the game on Steam and even more on PlayStation 5, and developer Arrowhead Game Studios is desperately working to release bug fixes and improve server stability.

The Creative Director, Johan Pilestedt, explained the issue, saying it is “due to the high traffic on the servers leading to rewards not being tracked correctly on our servers.”

Since then, they’ve pushed three hotfixes live, but the issue continues to run rampant for many, though significantly fewer than before.
