Satisfactory 1.0 is finally available on PC, and it’s the culmination of the studio’s work over nearly five years. The full release has tons of new features and content for players to explore, but it also has its fair share of technical issues as well. If you’re running a dedicated server for Satisfactory and are running into the “Encryption Token Missing” error, here is how you can fix that.
Fixing the Satisfactory Encryption Token Missing Error
If you’re running a dedicated server in Satisfactory, you are already familiar with the different ports that need to be forwarded for the server to work properly. With the 1.0 update, there is a new addition to the port configuration that needs to be updated on the user’s end.
- The server API is running on TCP this time instead of UDP, so you need to forward ports 7777 (Game Port), 15000 (Beacon Port), and 15777 (Query Port) to both UDP + TCP instead of just UDP in your router.
- All three ports need to be forwarded to both UDP and TCP so that the dedicated servers can connect properly.
After you have forwarded all three ports to both UDP and TCP, the dedicated server in Satisfactory should work normally. We also recommend using the Server Manager inside the game to manage your dedicated servers as well.
If you forward just the 7777 port, you can only access the instance of your local server, which defeats the purpose. However, with the 15000 and 15777, other players can easily join you as well. Most players should be able to get their servers running after making this change.
Servers issues aside, if you’re also running into any crashes, especially related to Unreal Engine in Satisfactory, a small tweak to the launch options can fix that as well.
