Overwatch 2 servers could possibly be down for maintenance, are being overloaded, or this could be an isolated issue on your end. How To Fix BC-153 Error Code in Overwatch 2

Since the BC-153 error code is most likely a widespread issue with Activision Blizzard’s servers, there’s only so much you can do on your end to find a possible fix. Try these common troubleshooting ideas to see if it helps you:

  • Restart your game – Try restarting Overwatch 2 and your Battle.net launcher (on PC) for better luck at connecting.
  • Change servers – Some users are reporting greater success at playing by connecting to different server regions. Not ideal, but it’s something for now.
  • Check your internet connection – The old tried and true method. Try restarting your internet’s modem/router.
  • Restart your PC/Console – A fresh system reset may do the trick.

Other than that, your only other option may be to simply wait for servers to become stable again. Oh, the woes of launch days.
