Time for a delivery.

Escape from Tarkov has a series of Marathon quests, one of which is quite familiar to Tarkov veterans: the Secrets of Polikhim task. The task is reminiscent of the “Delivery of the Past,” but there’s an added twist. To finish the Secrets of Polikhim task, you need to do it in Marathon mode, which completely changes how you approach things. Here’s how to complete the Secrets of Polikhim task and reap all the amazing rewards in Escape from Tarkov.

How to Complete the Secrets of Polikhim Task in Escape from Tarkov

To complete the Secrets of Polikhim task from the Mechanic, you need to do the following objectives:

  • Locate and obtain the precision tools package in the laboratory at Customs
  • Transit from Customs to Factory
  • Eliminate three Scavs in the Factory
  • Stash the package in the laboratory storage room in the Factory

As mentioned before, this can only be done in the Marathon game mode. In the raid menu screen (where you choose a map), click the “Marathon” icon on the top right corner of the screen.

All Marathon game modes start in Ground Zero, and you’ll have to travel from map to map until you reach both Customs and Factory. You can’t exactly skip through maps so you have to go through the exact order of the Marathon mode. For the Secrets of Polikhim task, you’ll have to go through the following maps:

  1. Ground Zero
  2. Streets of Tarkov
  3. Interchange
  4. Customs
  5. Factory

It’ll be a long marathon, so you need to start preparing for your loadout. The task doesn’t require you to bring anything, but it is best to bring food, healing, and ammo that’s good enough for 3-4 raids. To help you get around the maps, you can read our all transit guide locations for each map so you can start memorizing where you have to go.

Precision Tools Package Location in Customs – Secrets of Polikhim

The Precision Tools Package is located inside the “Crackhouse” in Customs. It is where the Intelligence Folder spawns, in the middle of the RUAF Roadblock and Stronghold. Once inside the Crackhouse go to the second floor and look for the medical room or lab. There are some apparatus scattered around the table, but you want to look at the table in one of the corners, as seen in the image above. The Precision Tools Package will spawn here and look like a briefcase.

Once you get the task done, you can go past the Stronghold and go to the Old Gas Station. Go to the orange gate and transit to the Factory map.

Where is the Laboratory Storage Room in Factory – Secrets of Polikhim

Once in the Factory, you want to go to the middle, where the plane crash happened. This is basically the middle of the Factory map, so it is really dangerous. It is also the middle of four different close PMC spawns. However, you are only looking for the red door, as seen in the images above.

Once you are inside the red door, you can stash the objective, and the enemies will think twice about entering through the door. After stashing the objective, you can start fighting your way out. Since the task is done, you don’t need to survive and extract. You can freely fight or even continue the marathon. If you want to get out as soon as possible, you can head straight to the Med Tent extraction point after exiting through the red door.
