How to Finish Energy Crisis in Escape from Tarkov

Good thing they are all close to each other.

The Energy Crisis task in Escape from Tarkov is quite confusing. You are required to find and mark three fuel tanker trucks and a group of fuel tankers. Without any map, it is hard to find these spots, especially since the Lighthouse is such a big map. It is best to check the locations of these tankers before starting a raid because it is hard to go back and forth in Lighthouse since it is a dangerous map to play. Here are all the tanker locations in Lighthouse and how to finish the Energy Crisis task in Escape from Tarkov.

How to Complete Energy Crisis in Escape from Tarkov

To finish the Energy Crisis quest, you need to finish all these objectives:

  • Find and mark the group of fuel tanks with an MS2000 Marker on Lighthouse
  • Find and mark the first tanker truck with an MS2000 Marker on Lighthouse
  • Find and mark the second tanker truck with an MS2000 Marker on Lighthouse
  • Find and mark the third tanker truck with an MS2000 Marker on Lighthouse

Note: You don’t have to finish them all in one raid. As long as you mark a truck and finish the objective individually, they will not reset.

Since you are marking four objectives and only have three special equipment slots, one MS2000 Marker will be placed in your rig, pockets, bag, or safe container. Before going into the locations of the fuel tanker trucks, you need to know that the rogues will shoot you when you go near the water treatment plant in Lighthouses.

For PMCs who chose the BEAR faction, you’ll have a much harder time. If you chose the USEC faction, you are naturally neutral against the rogues unless you shoot some or stay near them. All fuel tanker trucks will force you to go through the rogues in the water treatment plant, so you need to plan your route when you are unfriendly against the rogues.

All Fuel Tanker Truck Spawns for Energy Crisis

First Fuel Tanker Truck

The first fuel tanker truck is located at the main entrance of the water treatment plant (from the main road/bridge). There’s a guard tower with a rogue. Sometimes, they don’t spawn, but always expect them to be there. Before going near the truck, you must kill the rogues if you are unfriendly. If not, you can mark the tanker freely.

Second Fuel Tanker Truck

The second or nearest fuel tanker truck is inside the water treatment plant. It is next to warehouse or building 3. You can easily go inside if you are neutral with the rogues. If not, you have to hug the fence and head to the east of the water treatment plant. Shoot the rogues on top of warehouse three near the sandbags (if they are there) and go through the slit on the fence.

If you have some quests that need technical items like Fuel Conditioners or Car Batteries, you can get them inside Warehouse 3. Looting these warehouses and the main entrance of the water treatment plant is one of the best ways to earn money in Lighthouse. They have high-value items like VPX, Virtex, GPUs, and military-grade items while having a decent amount of technical loot.

Third Fuel Tanker Truck

The third fuel tanker truck is past the water treatment plant and inside the railyard. It is located near the middle of the railyard, slightly east near the containers. This area is a hotbed for Scavs, and rogues in Warehouse 2 can also shoot you here. You’ll need to clear them before marking.

Group of Fuel Tankers

The group of fuel tankers is also in the railyard just north of the third fuel tanker. You can head to the extraction once you have marked this one safely.
