The Vex Incursion Zone is an area on Neptune with a high Vex concentration, but here’s the thing; it rotates. The zone will change once per day, and the falling colorful rain indicates the indication for where it is in Neomuna on a specific area on the map.

For instance, if you’re playing on March 2, 2023, when this guide is written, the Vex Incursion zone is found in Liming Harbor. Below is an image showing the rainbow animation you’re looking for to determine the zone’s location.

It isn’t marked as clearly as much of the other content in the game. If you’re trying to complete the Maelstrom quest, you’ll need to locate the Vex Incursion Zone, and it can take forever to find if you don’t know this handy trick for determining where it is.
