How to Get Planet’s Favor in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – Location Guide

As you traverse the world of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, there’s a chance you’ll stumble across the “unspoiled embodiment of the planet’s grace,” otherwise known as Planet’s Favor. Or maybe not! It depends on how far in the game you are.

Planet’s Favor is a significant ingredient in item transmutation, but you’ll only start stumbling across it once you hit Junon. This war-torn region can only be accessed by traversing the Mythril Caves that separate it from the Grasslands. And reaching Junon means that you’ve reached Chapter 4 of the game.

But don’t expect Planet’s Favor to be overflowing the moment you step into Junon’s rubble. It’s still an uncommon component with a three-star rarity. Similar to Tourmaline and Condor Cedar, which you’ll also be able to find once you arrive in Junon.

The best way to find Planet’s Favor is to check around buildings or manmade items, where they seem to be most common. But Planet’s Favor, like Planet’s Blessing, can appear anywhere on the ground. So, if you see a gold resource icon pop up on your screen, it’s always good to go investigate.

Or you can complete the Scars of War Excavation Intel to simply learn the recipe to craft the Planet’s Favor. This is highly recommended, as you only need 3 Planet’s Blessing and 5 Sage initially to craft it.

And the more Planet’s Favor you have in your inventory, the better! It’s a necessary ingredient for quite a few Item Transmutation recipes, like:

  • Hi-Potions – Restores 700 HP.
  • Mist Hi-Potions – Restores 700 HP to all allies.
  • Ether – Restores 20 MP.
  • Sailor’s Bracer – A resilient bracer made to withstand life on the high seas.
  • Gold Coral Armlet – An enchanting armlet craft with rare coral from the depths of the sea.

Mist Hi-Potions are particularly useful to have on hand!
