My favorite Pal in the entire game.

Palworld has all kinds of interesting Pals you can discover and catch, from massive flying creatures to, well, cows and sheep. Let’s talk about where to find Mozzarina, the cow Pal, in Palworld.

Mozzarina Cow Location in Palworld

You can find herds of Mozzarina Pals west of the Ravine Entrance, around the Sealed Realms of the Swordmaster and Thunder Dragon, and east of Ascetic Falls. This region, which also spawns Alpha Pals like Relaxaurus Lux and Broncherry Aqua, often has two or three Mozzarina near each other, with the occasional lone cow roaming around for you to catch without interference from other Pals.

The image below shows Mozzarina’s exact spawn region shaded in orange, indicating where to focus your attention as you search for this Pal. The easiest way to get here is to travel to the Rayne Syndicate Tower before traveling northwest to the Ravine Entrance at coordinates (-64, -429) and venturing beyond this point to find Mozzarina.

How to Catch Mozzarina in Palworld

Like most Pals, your goal is to lower Mozzarina’s health as much as possible without defeating it to raise your odds of catching it with your Pal Sphere. Since most Mozzarinas are around levels 12 to 15, upgrading your catch power using Lifmunk Effigies at a Statue of Power will help raise your chances.

I also used a Mega Sphere to catch my first Mozzarina rather than a regular one to make the process easier. If you want a surefire way to catch this cow Pal with little issues, use stronger spheres, such as Mega or Giga Spheres, to increase your odds significantly.

Alternatively, you can try to obtain a cow Pal by purchasing one from a merchant or Black Marketeer. I’ve seen Mozzarina being sold fairly consistently by the Pal Merchant at the Small Settlement. It cost around 4,000 Gold Coins, which was easy enough to raise after selling the merchant a small pile of the many unwanted Pals I caught right outside the town.

How to Breed Mozzarina in Palworld

If you’re having trouble finding or catching this somewhat elusive cow Pal, you can always go through the arduous process of breeding one instead. You can pair many Pals to breed a Mozzarina, but I’d suggest using Foxparks and Nitewing because you can find and obtain these two Pals early on at the game’s starting area. Below you can check out a few more breeding combinations that will result in a Mozzarina to place in your Base:

To start breeding Mozzarina, you’ll need to craft a Breeding Farm which you can unlock in the Technology Tree starting at level 19. From there, it’s mostly a process of baking a cake that requires several uncommon ingredients, including milk which you can ironically obtain from a Mozzarina cow. Once you have your cake, place it in the Breeding Farm’s box, throw your two parent Pals into the breeding pen, and watch the magic happen. Once the eggs start appearing, you need only place them in an Incubator to hatch them.

Mozzarina Stats, Type, and Work Suitability in Palworld

Mozzarina is a neutral-type Pal with level-one farming work suitability. This trait, combined with its Milk Maker skill, allows Mozzarina to automatically produce milk in a ranch that you can gather and use for cooking. Its use in battle is not amazing, but if you need a regular supply of milk, this cow is your Pal.
