How to Fast Travel in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

In order to fast travel in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, you will first need to visit some Landmarks or discover some Rest Spots on the map. Once you have progressed enough through the game (reached later parts of Chapter 1, at least), do the following to fast travel:

  1. Open the map by going to the main menu (X button), then selecting Map. Or hold ZL and press X to go directly to the map without opening the main menu.
  2. Select a Landmark (yellow tower-like icons) or Rest Spot (yellow handshake-like icons)
  3. You will see and prompt for A button to “Skip Travel“, but before you press it and initiate the fast travel, you can use L and R buttons to choose the time of day of the place where you will skip to.

If you are fast-traveling to a location on the same map, the transition will be instantaneous, but if you select a Landmark or Rest Spot in a faraway region, get ready for some load times.

Now you know how to use fast travel in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 so go into the world, explore, and make it your own in this epic JRPG adventure that can easily last 100+ hours.
