The Chornobyl Exclusion Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is no joke to traverse across with armed gunmen, mutants, and strange anomalies waiting in the open fields. To avoid all of that, here is how to fast travel in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl
How Fast Travel Works in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl players can fast travel in the game by talking to a guide at major locations within the Zone. Guides are NPCs located at settlements whose only job is to instantly transport you across the huge map.
Guides are specially marked on the map within the settlements, but you must visit them in person to activate fast travel. You cannot simply open your map and warp straight to the guides like they’re some sort of checkpoint.
Select the Guide option when talking to a guide like Uncle Lyonya and they will offer several locations that you’ve already traveled to. Pick the previously visited area you want to travel to and pay the appropriate coupon price to wind up there after a brief loading screen.
The price will differ depending on the distance to the location, but is usually one to a few thousand coupons per trip. It is very pricey for beginning players who have only been to a few locations and have not sold much gear or weapons.
This system is in place to seemingly encourage all of these long trips back and forth because it is not supposed to be easy living within the Zone. You’ll have to deal with the constant dangers of the lands without simply warping whenever you want, at least for a while.
