How to Evolve the Science Rocks in Vampire Survivors Emergency Meeting DLC

A very controversial weapon to say the least.

Science Rocks is a peculiar weapon added to Vampire Survivors in the Emergency Meeting DLC. Initially, you may feel that it’s useless, but trust me, it’s busted. Here is how to evolve the Science Rocks into Rocket Science, which also unlocks Shapeshifter Nino, a new character.

How to Unlock the Science Rocks Weapon in Vampire Survivors Emergency Meeting DLC

Science Rocks is the main weapon of Scientist Mina, which you can unlock by evolving the Lucky Swipe weapon. If you want to unlock Science Rocks for all other characters you’ve purchased, you need to reach Level 50 with Scientist Mina.

How to Evolve Science Rocks into Rocket Science in Vampire Survivors Emergency Meeting DLC

You evolve Science Rocks into Rocket Science by reaching the maximum levels with Science Rocks (8) and Mini Scientist (3). Mini Scientist is the small pink Among Us character that you can either fetch with Mad Groove Arcana or pick up in the Specimen room (if you’ve played Among Us).

If you didn’t play Among Us, you can access Specimen by entering the door on the northern wall or by using the old-fashioned way through the building.

After obtaining and leveling up the pieces, pick up a Treasure Chest and hope that the RNG will grant you Rocket Science.

How to Unlock Shapeshifter Nino Character in Vampire Survivors Emergency Meeting DLC

Shapeshifter Nino is unlocked and available for purchase immediately after you exit the run after evolving Science Rocks into Rocket Science successfully for the first time. Depending on which characters you own so far, the price will vary. Mine was 3,650 gold, for example.

What Do Science Rocks and Rocket Science Do in Vampire Survivors Emergency Meeting DLC?

Science Rocks tosses rocks randomly around you. Science Rocks don’t explode on their own. Sadly, you must touch them yourself for them to blow up. They have very potent damage that will annihilate most regular enemies caught in the explosion radius.

This weapon is one of the worst in the early game, but if you supplement it with one or two other early-game weapons, it’s a great addition to the arsenal that will keep growing your power.

  • Level 2: Fires 1 more projectile. Base Area up by 30%.
  • Level 3: Fires 1 more projectile.
  • Level 4: Fires 1 more projectile. Base Area up by 30%.
  • Level 5: Fires 1 more projectile.
  • Level 6: Fires 1 more projectile. Base Area up by 30%.
  • Level 7: Fires 1 more projectile.
  • Level 8: Fires 1 more projectile. Base Damage up by 5.

Rocket Science is the “Simon Says” of this Among Us crossover. Every once in a while, eight squares will spawn around you. Some of them might be numbered 1-5. If you step on them in order, chaos will ensue.
