How to Evolve Snom in Pokemon Sword and Shield

This guide is going to assume that you’re already in possession of one of these adorable little frozen bug things, but if not, you can catch them at the following locations:

  • Lake out Outrage
  • Giant’s Cap
  • Hammerlocke Hills
  • Stony Wilderness
  • Route 8
  • Route 10

Now that you’ve got a Snom in one hand and your parental instincts in the other, here’s how to evolve one into a Frosmoth. You’re going to have to meet the following two criteria:

  1. It’s nighttime when Snom levels up
  2. Its happiness is at max

Like other Pokemon that require maxed-out friendship, your best bet when trying to get your Snom to love you is to basically feed it things. Doesn’t matter if it’s curry, if it’s berries, vitamins, or whatever. Just stuff it full of delicious things that you know it loves. On top of that, you can give it a Soothe Bell to hold as well (if you don’t have one, you can get one in Hammerlocke), so lavish it with enough attention and treats and it’s going to be your best mate in no time. Once this happens, take it out to kick some butt at night and make sure that it levels up to get your Frosmoth.
