How to Evolve Flittle into Espathra in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Your Flittle will evolve into Espathra once it reaches level 35. While you don’t need any particular items to accomplish this, you may have the grind battles for a while, depending on your Flittle’s current level. However, there are plenty of ways to level up your Pokemon, with the list below providing just a few methods:

  • Auto-battle with wild Pokemon. You can send out your Flittle by pressing the R button on your controller. If you want to fight high-level enemies, swap your Flittle with a stronger Pokemon!
  • Fight wild Pokemon in regular battles. While these fights are slightly slower, you’ll gain more EXP per battle.
  • Battle Trainers in the Overworld. Alternatively, you can keep Flittle in your inventory when fighting against Gym Leaders, Titans and Team Star bosses. However, this’ll put you at a notable disadvantage.
  • Use EXP Candies for instant experience boosts. (Bag > Other Items > EXP Candies)

After you reach level 35 with Flittle, your Rotom Phone will appear on your screen, and the Pokemon will evolve into Espathra!
