How To Evolve Feebas In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

To begin the Evolution process, you will need to track down a Prism Shard. This beautiful piece of jewel can be found in the Fellhorn Gorge in the location shown above. It’s hard to miss, especially since the Pokeball that holds it glows rather bright, but we’ve also included a photo of where you should be looking to find it alongside the map.

You can also obtain a Prism Shard by filling your Kitakami Pokedex up to 140 volumes. You can check this out by opening your Pokedex, browsing to the Kitakami Dex, and pressing X.

Once you’ve gotten your hands on the Prism Shard, make sure that you’ve got yourself a Feebas, as they’re a necessary half of the equation. Once you have added a Feebas to your party, give them the Prism Shard.

To give your Pokemon an item, pause the game by pressing the X Button, then pressing left on either the Thumbstick or D-Pad. Select Feebas using the A button, and select the option to “Give an item to hold.” Select the Prism Shard from your “Other Items” menu, and prepare for this exciting evolution’s final portion.

Now, you’ll need to ensure that you’ve got a few friends to trade back and forth with because trading is the only way to evolve Feebas. Plenty of folks are available on forum sites like Reddit to trade if none of your friends are playing at the moment. Complete a trade back and forth with a friend or acquaintance, and you’ll be ready to explore the new lands of Kitamari with your favorite Pokemon.

If you’re lucky, however, you may find a Milotic hiding out in Raids waiting around the lands of this DLC expansion. Typically, they’ll be a 5-star raid, so you’ll need a powerful pal to help you out. Be sure to learn how to teach Azumarill Belly Drum to ensure you’re plowing through these raids with ease, and check out our Scarlet and Violet section below for even more helpful tips and tricks in your adventure!
