Komi boards can be found in random places across Duviri, though mostly in settlements and man-made structures rather than the open fields or ruins. Once you reach the Komi board, you’ll want to start with a stone in the bottom left corner. Then, once the AI places a stone, place a stone two above the first. The AI will capture your first stone but don’t worry. Once it does, place a stone diagonally down from the one stone you now have.

From here, you want to continuously place stones to the right until you have a stone on the second to last column. Once that’s done, place one up diagonally in the final column. Finally, place a stone just below that to capture all the stones the AI has placed and instantly win. Once done, you and any potential squadmates will receive some Saggen Pearls along with a decree. If you have any confusion about where to place the stones, I’ve included an image above that shows all stones except for the starting one in the bottom left.

Is There a Reason to Repeatedly Play Komi?

Unless you seriously enjoy defeating the AI, there’s no reason to play Komi at the same board multiple times. However, if you play Komi at all the different boards across Duviri, you’ll score Saggen Pearls and a decree each time. It could make you a helpful asset to your squad too. Plus you can make your squadmates do the rest of the work, and that’s always fun.
