Where to Find the Elegant Crown in Resident Evil 4

The treasure that can be sold for over 100,000 ptas. is called the “Elegant Crown.” There are two Elegant Crowns that can be found in Resident Evil 4, late in Chapter 10, as well as Chapter 13.

The first Elegant Crown can be located in the Depths, shortly after Salazar and his minions throw Leon down the pit. It can be found in the exact map location pictured above.

The Elegant Crown is found by the wall, next to a rotting corpse.

The treasure is somewhat unassuming at first glance, fetching a modest, but nevertheless impressive price of 19,000 ptas. However, by inlaying gemstones, the value of the Elegant Crown can be increased to over 100,000 in RE4 currency.

An additional possibility for earning the trophy or achievement is to inlay five unique colors including: one Sapphire and one Yellow Diamond in the round-cut spaces, as well as one Red Beryl, one Emerald, and one Alexandrite in the square-cut sockets.

Once you have inlayed all of the gems and increased the Elegant Crown’s value to over 100,000 ptas, head back to the Merchant at your earliest convenience.
