How to Do the Infinite Money Glitch in Dead Space Remake

Isaac's raking in the dough.

Dead Space does a good job of giving you just enough money to get by, but not so much you’re swimming in it. The entire resource economy of the game is purpose-built this way, leaving you constantly on your toes and fighting for enough resources to complete each level. That’s a lot better than it sounds on paper, but you might be inclined to do glitches and fight this mechanic. Here’s how to do the Infinite Money glitch in Dead Space Remake.

How to Get Infinite Money in Dead Space Remake

We’d like to give full credit to the YouTuber I Lap the Flash for being the first to post the glitch, who learned it from a friend. To begin the glitch, you’ll need either the Pulse Rifle or Line Gun, seven nodes, and 5,000 credits to start with. Once you have those, head toward the nearest bench and unload all of the ammo by spamming your alternate fire and pressing space on the mines it deployed. Do not pick these ammo boxes up, though. Once your ammo is as empty as it can be, go to the bench and use your nodes to upgrade one Capacity node. Back out of it, and your weapon should be reloaded.

Repeat this process until you’ve used all Capacity nodes you can and as much ammo as possible is on the floor. From there, spend the 5000 credits to reset the nodes put into the weapon and repeat the process until you’re out of credits. Once you are, pick up all the ammo, load the gun once so you can do this trick again, then sell the remaining ammo. You should have gotten more than the 5000 you invested and can now repeat this process infinitely.

If you’re looking to max out the money you get for time invested, using the Line Gun and getting the upgrades can yield a bit more credits each time you do this. Either way, if you’re willing to invest enough time, you should have more than enough credits when you’re done. Enjoy raining money!
