How to Dive in Hogwarts Legacy

Wet wizard robe

Being a student at Hogwarts involves various activities such as learning magic and various spells and completing numerous quests – but sometimes you need to go underwater. As Hogwarts Legacy is an RPG game with a fairly open world spread over a large map – there is really everything out there, including a couple of lakes that hide loot or quest items under their surface. So it’s time to get your wizard robes wet and dive in, but you can’t find out how? Diving in Hogwarts Legacy isn’t straightforward like in most other open-world games, so let’s find out how to actually do it.

How to Dive in Hogwarts Legacy?

To dive in Hogwarts Legacy, you have to find specific places in water where you will notice swirling water that can be interacted with by pressing the “X” button on Xbox, the “Square” button on PlayStation, or the “F” key if you are playing on a PC with a keyboard. This is the only way to dive in Hogwarts Legacy – although you can jump into every body of water and swim as much as you want, going underwater is possible only in these designated places.

A few quests will ask you to dive to find the items needed to complete them, but there will often be hidden loot hidden under the swirling points in the lakes. To find these places more efficiently, use your broom or flying mount and fly low above the water until you notice the swirling point – that way, you will save time because Hogwarts students aren’t known for being very good swimmers; it must be the wet wizard robe.
